Quick Chicken, Rice and Veggies

What You’ll Need:

1 minute prep | 7 minutes “cook”

Makes 4 Servings

1 bag of frozen veggies (Steam in Bag)

1 bag 90 second Brown Rice and Quinoa

1 pack Chicken Sausage Links

Directions:

Although processed meats should not be a regular go-to, this is a healthier choice than other microwave dinners…and ready just as quickly!

  1. Cut the sausage links into pieces (I use scissors to make it quick and straight to the pan).

  2. Heat over medium in a frying pan to brown the chicken pieces. If you don’t have a stove handy, you could easily just microwave these as well.

  3. Steam veggies in the bag in the microwave per bag directions (usually 5 minutes).

  4. Steam rice pack according to directions.

  5. Enjoy while hot!

Veggies that are great and easy: Edamame, Broccoli, Cauliflower! Try any you like and add salt, pepper and a little butter for added flavor.
