What You’ll Need:

10 minutes prep | 20-25 minutes cook

Makes 12 Servings

1lb sausage

8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 egg

1 Tbsp butter - melted

2 cup almond flour

1/2 tsp salt

3 tsp baking powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.

  2. Melt butter in a large bowl.

  3. Add sausage, cheese and egg to the bowl with the butter. Combine well.

  4. Combine almond flour, salt and baking powder in a small bowl.

  5. Combine the small bowl into the large bowl.

  6. After well combined, roll into balls approx 1 inch in diameter.

  7. Place on a cookie sheet with a little space between. They will not grow much while baking. (parchment paper will make clean up easier).

  8. Bake 20-25 minutes until browned.

Using turkey sausage can decrease the calorie and fat content. You may wish to add extra spices to replace any missing flavor. These freeze well or can be refrigerated for 5-7 days in a covered container.
